Morgan Kari was one of the original founding members of the Pastel Society
of Southern California (PSSC). She has had extensive Art teaching
experience having taught at Art Center College of Design, Palos Verdes Art
Center, Otis College of Art and Design and now at the Manhattan Beach
Creative Arts Center. She also holds Classes at her beautiful 900 square
foot Art Studio at her home in Woodland Hills.

Morgan is especially interested in many art mediums and how to combine them
in unique ways. Over the years she has done dozens of Demos and Workshops,
showing these techniques to interested groups. For this Demo, she will be
demonstrating in various mediums how to create underpaintings and
overpaintings for working in Pastel. For the Workshop she will be
introducing Watercolor Special Effects used for the underpainting of Pastel
artwork.

A Materials List will be available upon registration to the Watercolor
Special Effects Workshop. This will be a fun afternoon experimenting with
common and unusual items to create unique backgrounds, over which you can
apply your Pastel artwork as desired.
