Pastel Society of Southern California

Mission Statement

•  To bring together pastel artists in the Southern California region for camaraderie and collaboration.
•  To educate the public and promote pastel as a fine art medium through local shows and exhibitions(Eligible work for exhibitions will follow IAPS guidelines.)
•  To foster artistic excellence through public demonstrations, workshops, paint-outs, critiques, and exchange of technical and product information.
•  To be a member society of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS).

Membership Requirements

•  Membership is open to anyone working in pastel or interested in the medium.
•   A member will be in good standing when dues are paid at the beginning of each fiscal year in July.

Membership Benefits

•  Receive e-mail notices of meetings and events, and newsletters as the Society grows.
•  Attend meetings approximately 5 times per year, tentatively scheduled for the third Saturday of odd
•          months.
•   Enter membership-only shows and exhibitions.
•  Ability to show work on Society website, when established.
